‘Letter to the Editor’

Dear Sir,
The continued and insensitive use of the acronym ISIS, to refer to the Daesh terrorist group, is serving no-one other then the terrorists themselves.
Firstly, Isis is a many thousands of years old, revered Egyptian Goddess, whom is still revered today with her spiritual movement continuing to grow daily.

Secondly, to call Daesh by these acronymous names is further inflating their already deluded sense of grandiosity, and increasing their power by doing so, as it reinforces their claim that they are the Islamic State, to which they are neither.
The Daesh are wanting the world to believe they are either ‘The Islamic State of Iraq and The Levant’ (ISIL) or ‘Islamic State of Iraq and Syria’ (ISIS); when they are in fact, a few brainwashed, fanatical, believer’s taking The Quran out of context and continuing a ten-thousand year old war, to which in this generation, they were trained by the US (much to the knowledge and approval of GB) to aid in the created War on Iraq, Afghanistan, Beirut, under the pretence of peace keeping, aid for the innocents, when in actuality it was in order to dominate Oil rich lands.
Calling Daesh terrorists a State, is vastly inaccurate, yet, calling them Isis is simply sacrilege.
Daesh is THE most appropriate name to place upon these terrorists, as it literally means; (quote)

“Depending on how it is conjugated in Arabic, it can mean anything from ‘to trample down and crush’ to ‘a bigot who imposes his view on others’,” Boston Globe writer Zeba Khan reported in October 2014.

Kindly do your editorial duty in rectifying the use of these inaccurate and war fuelling acronyms, and give those who revere Goddess Isis, the right to live without further localised attacks, and abuse being placed on even more innocent people world-wide.
