Duality Reflects

Duality is reflected in you and I

Just as in the lakes we can see the Sky

The grass is always greener on the other side

As clouds pass by, the Sun does hide

Yet the beauty is often not seen

As one view has obscured obscene

Take a step back, widen your horizon

Reflection is often surprising

The whole picturesque scene afore

Voluptuous trees, colours galore

Clouds dispersed in shady hues

Sun rays splinter through the views

River sides differ as black and white

Yet beauty is found through distorted sight

Shadows offer mysteries

As green leaf offer majestic trees

Ripples in water, as scenes reflect

Duality, Triplicity, or Quartet.

  1. beautiful image and poem! Love the descriptions and your use of meter and rhyme. 🙂

  2. I enjoyed your idea of ‘river sides differ’ in reflection. I often get lost on a return trip because the reflection of the first trip is unfamiliar to me. Thanks for sharing.
